Huitong, do you think that the twin-seater J-15S will enter service with an AESA radar? How about the single-seat variant; when do you think they will undergo retrofits?

Yes It is possible that J-15 will be upgraded with AESA radar. All future upgrades of the 3rd generation fighters such as J-10 and J-11 will include AESA radar (J-10C and J-11D).

I think it will happen when J-15's operation onboard the aircraft carrier has become mature. But that probably won't happen until the first domestically built aircraft carrier enters the service after 2020.
