On the page of the blog that covers air-launched weapons, it is assumed that "YJ-100" is simply an old name for the CJ-10/KD-20. This is quite peculiar, considering that "YJ" stands for "Yin Ji", a designation normally reserved for anti-ship missiles. To add to that confusion, recent newspapers are reporting of a 800-km-ranged anti-ship missile named the YJ-100, which they claim could be launched from the H-6 bomber.
The name could suggest that the missile itself is capable of anti-ship strike, that there is a subvariant that is designed for anti ship purposes, or that the entire designation is a hoax. The confusion is quite rampant amongst those who read this blog.

The "YJ" name was used, mainly by the manufacturer, before PLAAF standardized its missile designation as "KD". For example, KD-63 was initially called YJ-63.
