In my opinion,the single most important hardware ever display in 2018 zhuhai air show was the data link equipment.DTS-03
If you compare the image 3 years ago. the images appear on the airshow, mean the development is complete.although look like slightly bigger than US MIDS.it possible,that same data link terminal was fitted inside JF-17 as link-17.
this also indicate that PLAAF AWACS may also carry JTIDS.
the other was small phase array satelite communication link build by company base ibn Chingqing.the according to the sales brochure small antenna operate in Ku band design primalry for UAV.but it could also redesign for fighter aircraft
