There's strong possibility,we might see Y-20 tanker with flying boom much sooner than H-20.

2`3 years ago,I recall saw an image in chinese web showing what appear to be commercial aircraft.(TU-154?) convert into tanker with what appear to be a flying boom.

There's strong possibility,we might see Y-20 tanker with flying boom much sooner than H-20. Based on what information? 2`3 years ago,I recall saw an image in chinese web showing what appear to be commercial aircraft.(TU-154?) convert into tanker with what appear to be a flying boom. IMO not, at least not that I remember. However I remember some of the typical fan-made ps-jobs around that unique Tu-204C that later became the J-20's radar testbed. |

it is not a fan art.the image appear to be blurr.now I remember it is what appear to be Y-10
images I believe appear on 2015. chinese may have use the old Y-10 for ground testing and demonstration.
I remember an old article,about the iranian govt. around early 2000 (2004?) blocked the Chinese engineer from examing the KC-747.in the end iranian may allow the chinese access to the KC-747.

Скачивайте Tutu App и наслаждайтесь свободой выбора! most of Air tankers of the world is based on Airliners, except IL-78 which is based on IL-76, so i assume that a version of C-919 will be more suitable than Y-20 tanker version, and its too early to suppose production of Y-20 tanker version will be started soon, but might be doing some experiment version of Y-20, and remember main job for Y-20 is to carrying cargo not tanker |
