I don't know anything about the strategic bomber in that chart. I can only speculate that XAC is developing a stealth bomber similar to American B-2.

I think the design is still on paper/PC, there are still some critical issues to be taken care of (such as the FBW system of the flying wing) before they can start to build the prototype.

Why would the Chinese waste time with a conventional bomber when they are developing a stealth one?
It is a parallel project with the stealth bomber?

Payload. Conventional bomber can carry much more.
After your stealth bombers have taken care of your enemy's air defense, that's when the real pounding begins. And you do this with conventional bombers.
