the laser designator pod carry by J-16 is OC-5,while WMD-7 that appear on Zhuhai airshow.which is design purely for export only,while OC-5 do not.

To admit regarding the WMD-7 it's no surprise, since the pod seen on the JH-7A and J-10 (= K/JDC01 ) as well as the Q-5 (= K/PZS-01H) are different ... but this OC-5 is - at least to me - completely new. speculation that EOT-86 and OC-5 may share same technology.
