Hey Huitong, do you by any chance know if there are any differences between 01 Block and 02 Block J-15?
Will there be an upgraded J-15B or is that already incorporated into the second batch?

watching recent russia air strike against isis,the russian like the USAF employed netcentric,real time reccon strike .target identified by spy satelite ,drone or even foot soldier quickly sent to the main headquarter in moscow,when target identified as hostile ,information and GPS data send directly to the aircraft SATCOM .from moemnt the target is identified to the obiteration took less than 20 minute.the entire procedure is very similiar to the USAF use during the afgan and iraq war.
the entire equipment was design in belorrussia.according to kanwa.a similiar equipment was sold to China around 2010.

It appears there is no difference between the 01 and 02 batch of J-15.

Currently the J-15S prototype is being evaluated at CFTE. It is expected to enter limited production (dozens) in 1-2 years.

the range of new gen. air air miisile sucj PL-15 could give us the clue about detection range of J-15 AESA radar.

I think J-15 would be upgraded after it has achieved full combat capability onboard the Liaoning and has test-fired all its weapons. J-15S can also be upgraded as well as long as PLAN can afford it.
