according to recent report about new portable high power laser weapon.and the laser generator the size of suitcase.likely pointing at development of energy IR jammer,to blind a satellite one needed much ,much bigger transmitter.

China may have realized conventional flare decoy or "hot brick" type conical IR jammer ill be totally useless against newer generation iR seeker ,unless they equip there helos and fighter with DEIRCM.
